What is a link in bio for business?
A link in bio is the single clickable link a social profile allows, and the page it opens. For a creator it usually needs to route people to content. For a business it needs to explain the business first, then route people to buy, book or ask.

Why the single link exists
Most social platforms allow one link on a profile and few or none inside posts. That constraint created the link-in-bio page: a landing page whose whole job is to hold the destinations a profile cannot.
Creator use and business use are different jobs
- A creator is routing an audience that already knows them to the newest thing.
- A business is often meeting someone for the first time, mid-scroll.
- A creator's visitor knows what they came for. A business's visitor may not.
- A business has to answer what, where, how much and how — before any click.
What belongs on a business bio link
- One line that says what the business is and who it serves.
- Real photographs of the work, products or premises.
- The main action first: shop, book, quote or message.
- Secondary routes underneath, in the order you want them used.
- Location or service area if customers need to be nearby.
Link list, or a page about the business?
A link list is fast, free at entry level, and you maintain it yourself. If your visitors already know you and just need routing, that is a perfectly sensible choice.
A page about the business takes more content and is worth it when people arrive undecided — when the page has to do the explaining that a shop front or a conversation would normally do.
Where My Shop Window fits
My Shop Window is the second kind: a designed page introducing the business, with the links as the ending rather than the whole thing. We build it from content you send, for a one-off payment from £19.
