These terms apply to My Shop Window™, a trading name operating in the United Kingdom, and to anyone who enquires about or holds a Shop Window. By using this website or asking us to build a window, you agree to them.
A Shop Window is a single professional page published at an address on this website — myshopwindow.co.uk/your-business — built and maintained by us to a consistent design standard. The package you choose determines how much content, how many links and how many images your window can hold. Package names, prices and allowances are published on the pricing page and can change for new customers at any time.
We control the design, layout, typography and presentation of every Shop Window. That is deliberate: it is what keeps every window looking professional. You control the content — your words, images, products and links — and you can update it from your account. We do not offer bespoke design, custom layouts or theme choices.
You supply accurate business information, images you own or are licensed to use, and links that work. You confirm that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights and that any claims you make about your business are true. You keep ownership of everything you supply and grant us the licence needed to display it in your window.
Your window is built as a private draft. It is only published once you have seen it and confirmed you are happy with it. We may make minor design or technical changes to published windows as the platform develops.
Online payment is not currently enabled on this website. Nothing is charged through the enquiry form and no card details are collected here. The amount payable, when it is payable and what it covers are confirmed with you in writing before work begins.
We may decline an enquiry or close a window without refund if it is used for illegal activity, misleading claims, adult content, hate speech, or anything that damages the reputation of the platform or other windows. We will always tell you why.
We work to keep windows online continuously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales or bookings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for your window.
You can ask us to close your window at any time through the contact form. On closure your window is removed from public view and your content is deleted in line with the privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
